Job Description

Job Summary:
The Hindi teacher will be responsible for developing and delivering effective lessons in Hindi language and literature. The teacher will create a positive and engaging learning environment that supports students’ language development, critical thinking, and cultural awareness.

Key Responsibilities:
Instruction and Lesson Planning:

Develop and implement lesson plans that align with the curriculum and meet the educational standards.
Use a variety of teaching methods, including lectures, group work, and hands-on activities, to engage students and facilitate learning.
Assess student progress through tests, quizzes, assignments, and projects.
Provide constructive feedback to students to help them improve their language skills.
Curriculum Development:

Collaborate with colleagues to design and refine the Hindi curriculum.
Incorporate multimedia, technology, and other resources to enhance language instruction.
Stay updated with the latest teaching methodologies and integrate them into the curriculum.
Classroom Management:

Maintain a disciplined and conducive classroom environment.
Implement classroom rules and manage student behavior effectively.
Address individual learning needs and provide additional support to students as necessary.
Cultural Education:

Teach students about Hindi culture, traditions, and history through language lessons.
Organize cultural activities, such as festivals, presentations, and competitions, to enhance cultural understanding.
Professional Development:

Participate in workshops, seminars, and conferences to stay updated on the latest educational trends and practices.
Collaborate with other language teachers and staff to share best practices and resources.
Parent and Community Engagement:

Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding student progress and behavior.
Participate in parent-teacher meetings and school events.
Engage with the school community to promote the Hindi language and culture.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Hindi, Education, or a related field.
Certification: Teaching certification in Hindi (if applicable).
Experience: Previous teaching experience, especially in Hindi, is preferred.
Skills:
Strong command of the Hindi language (reading, writing, speaking).
Proficiency in teaching methodologies.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work with students from diverse backgrounds.
Classroom management skills.
Working Conditions:
Full-time or part-time position depending on the school’s needs.
Classroom-based, with possible involvement in extracurricular activities.
