Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Teaching and Curriculum Delivery:
Plan and deliver engaging Hindi lessons for [grade levels].
Develop lesson plans and instructional materials aligned with the school curriculum and CBSE/ICSE/state board guidelines.
Use innovative teaching methods to improve student comprehension and proficiency in Hindi (reading, writing, grammar, and literature).
Assessment and Evaluation:
Prepare and evaluate assignments, tests, and projects.
Provide timely feedback on student progress and suggest improvement strategies.
Maintain accurate records of students’ academic performance and attendance.
Classroom Management:
Create a positive and disciplined learning environment.
Encourage active student participation and foster a love for the Hindi language.
Address and resolve behavioral or academic issues in collaboration with parents and staff.
Extracurricular Activities:
Organize and participate in Hindi-related events, such as debates, essay writing, poetry recitation, and cultural programs.
Encourage students to participate in inter-school Hindi competitions.
Collaboration and Development:
Collaborate with fellow teachers for interdisciplinary teaching and holistic development.
Attend staff meetings, workshops, and training programs to stay updated on teaching methodologies.
Parental Communication:
Communicate with parents about students’ academic progress and behavioral concerns.
Conduct parent-teacher meetings to discuss students’ strengths and areas for improvement.
Skills:
Strong knowledge of Hindi grammar, literature, and linguistics.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in using technology for teaching (e.g., smartboards, educational software).
Classroom management and student engagement skills.
