Mathematics Teacher

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Mathematics Teacher to join our faculty. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mathematics and a commitment to fostering an engaging and supportive learning environment. The teacher will be responsible for delivering effective lessons, assessing student progress, and promoting a love for mathematics.

Key Responsibilities:

Teaching & Curriculum Development:
Plan and deliver engaging mathematics lessons based on the curriculum (e.g., primary, secondary, high school level).
Develop and implement lesson plans that cater to different learning styles.
Use innovative teaching methods, including technology and hands-on activities, to enhance student understanding.
Prepare students for exams, standardized tests, and competitions.

Student Assessment & Support:
Assess student progress through assignments, quizzes, and exams.
Provide constructive feedback to students and parents on academic performance.
Identify students who need additional support and provide remedial teaching as needed.
Encourage critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Classroom & Behavior Management:
Maintain discipline and create a positive classroom environment.
Establish clear rules and expectations for student behavior.
Foster a respectful and inclusive learning environment.

Professional Development & Collaboration:
Stay updated with new teaching strategies, curriculum changes, and advancements in mathematics education.
Collaborate with colleagues and participate in department meetings, workshops, and training.
Engage with parents and guardians to discuss student progress.
