Mathematics Teacher

Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Mathematics Teacher to join our school’s faculty. The ideal candidate will inspire students to develop a deep understanding of mathematical concepts while fostering critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and a passion for learning. The teacher will be responsible for designing engaging lessons, assessing student progress, and contributing to a positive school environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Lesson Planning & Delivery
Develop and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons aligned with the curriculum.
Utilize diverse teaching methods to accommodate various learning styles and abilities.
Integrate technology and innovative techniques into mathematics instruction.

Student Engagement & Development
Encourage students to explore mathematical concepts through real-world applications.
Foster a classroom environment that promotes collaboration, curiosity, and respect.
Provide individualized support to help students overcome challenges in mathematics.

Assessment & Feedback
Design and administer formative and summative assessments to evaluate student learning.
Provide timely, constructive feedback to help students improve and reach their potential.
Maintain accurate records of student progress and report to parents/guardians as needed.

Classroom Management
Establish clear expectations for behavior and ensure a safe, inclusive learning environment.
Address classroom disruptions promptly and professionally.

Professional Development & Collaboration
Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development activities.
Collaborate with colleagues to develop interdisciplinary lessons or projects.
Stay updated on new teaching methodologies, curriculum standards, and educational tools.
