Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Computer Science Teacher to join our faculty. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective computer science lessons to students, fostering a love for technology, and equipping them with essential computational and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement lesson plans that align with the school’s curriculum and educational standards.
Teach fundamental and advanced computer science topics, including programming, algorithms, databases, networking, cybersecurity, and artificial intelligence (as applicable).
Introduce students to various programming languages such as Python, Java, C++, HTML/CSS, and JavaScript.
Guide students in practical applications of computing, including software development, web design, and robotics (if applicable).
Conduct hands-on coding exercises, projects, and assessments to evaluate student learning and progress.
Encourage computational thinking and problem-solving skills among students.
Stay updated with the latest advancements in technology and integrate relevant topics into the curriculum.
Supervise and mentor students in coding competitions, hackathons, and extracurricular tech activities.
Maintain classroom discipline and create an inclusive learning environment.
Collaborate with fellow teachers, school staff, and parents to support student learning.
Ensure the proper use and maintenance of computer lab equipment and software.
Prepare and administer quizzes, tests, and exams to assess student performance.
Provide constructive feedback and support to students for their academic growth.
