Job Description

The Business Studies Teacher is responsible for planning, delivering, and assessing lessons that educate students on business principles, preparing them for real-world applications and examinations.

Key Responsibilities:

Teaching & Curriculum Development:
Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans that align with the curriculum.
Teach topics such as business environment, finance, marketing, management, and entrepreneurship.
Use various teaching methodologies, including case studies, discussions, and real-life business examples.
Incorporate technology and interactive tools to enhance learning.
Prepare students for internal and external examinations.

Student Engagement & Assessment:
Assess students’ progress through tests, assignments, and projects.
Provide constructive feedback and support to help students improve.
Encourage students to develop analytical and problem-solving skills.

Classroom Management:
Maintain discipline and create a positive learning environment.
Foster a culture of respect and collaboration in the classroom.

Professional Development & Collaboration:
Stay updated with current business trends and educational best practices.
Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and curriculum development initiatives.
Work collaboratively with colleagues to improve teaching strategies.

Extracurricular & Career Guidance:
Support business-related extracurricular activities, such as business clubs and competitions.
Guide students on career options in business and entrepreneurship.
