Job Description

Job Responsibilities:
Teaching Kannada:

Teach the Kannada language at various levels (primary, secondary, or higher secondary).
Instruct students in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding Kannada.
Provide lessons on Kannada grammar, vocabulary, and sentence structure.
Develop and implement lesson plans that meet the educational requirements of the curriculum.
Explain the history, literature, and cultural significance of Kannada.
Assessment and Evaluation:

Conduct regular tests, quizzes, and assessments to evaluate students’ progress.
Grade assignments, homework, and exams based on established criteria.
Provide feedback to students to help improve their language skills.
Maintain records of students’ performance and progress.
Classroom Management:

Create a conducive learning environment in the classroom.
Manage student behavior and foster a positive learning atmosphere.
Encourage active participation and engagement from all students.
Curriculum Development:

Collaborate with other teachers or departments to develop appropriate lesson plans and teaching strategies.
Adapt teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles.
Stay updated with the latest Kannada language teaching resources and materials.
Cultural Awareness:

Introduce students to Kannada literature, poetry, songs, and other cultural elements.
Organize events or activities related to Kannada language and culture, like Kannada language day, cultural festivals, etc.
Parent and Student Communication:

Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress and development.
Hold parent-teacher meetings to discuss any issues and to ensure support for students’ academic growth.
Professional Development:

Participate in workshops, seminars, and training sessions to improve teaching skills and knowledge.
Attend faculty meetings and contribute to school activities.
