Job Description

The Career Counsellor helps students explore career options, understand their strengths and interests, and plan their future academic and professional paths. They provide guidance on subject selection, higher education, scholarships, and job opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

Student Guidance & Counseling
Assess students’ skills, interests, and aspirations through counseling sessions and career assessment tests.
Provide information on various career options, university programs, and vocational courses.
Guide students on subject selection based on their career goals.

Workshops & Career Seminars
Organize career fairs, seminars, and guest lectures from industry experts.
Conduct sessions on resume writing, interview skills, and workplace readiness.

Higher Education Support
Assist students with college/university applications, entrance exams, and scholarship opportunities.
Provide guidance on study-abroad programs and admission requirements.

Parental & Teacher Collaboration
Work with teachers to identify students needing additional career guidance.
Conduct meetings with parents to discuss students’ career paths and future goals.

Psychological & Emotional Support
Help students manage academic stress and career-related anxiety.
Offer strategies for time management, goal setting, and confidence building.

Industry & Market Trends Awareness
Stay updated with the latest job market trends and emerging career opportunities.
Provide insights on industry requirements and necessary skills for different professions.
