Mathematics Teacher

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Mathematics Teacher to join our academic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective mathematics lessons to students, fostering a positive learning environment, and helping students develop problem-solving skills and a strong mathematical foundation.

Key Responsibilities:

Teaching & Instruction:
Plan, prepare, and deliver mathematics lessons in alignment with the curriculum.
Use a variety of teaching techniques to engage students of different learning styles.
Develop lesson plans that integrate real-world applications of mathematics.
Assess and evaluate student progress through tests, assignments, and examinations.
Provide extra support and intervention for students who need additional help.
Encourage students to think critically and develop problem-solving skills.

Classroom Management:
Create a safe and positive learning environment.
Establish and enforce rules for behavior and procedures for maintaining order in the classroom.
Encourage student participation and engagement in class activities.

Assessment & Reporting:
Maintain accurate records of student performance and progress.
Provide constructive feedback to students and parents regarding academic performance.
Prepare reports and participate in parent-teacher meetings.

Professional Development:
Stay updated with new teaching methodologies and educational technology.
Participate in workshops, training programs, and school meetings.
Collaborate with other teachers and staff for curriculum development.

Other Responsibilities:
Participate in extracurricular activities, such as math clubs or competitions.
Perform additional duties as assigned by the school administration.
