Job Summary:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Mathematics Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of mathematics, the ability to convey complex concepts in a clear and engaging manner, and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment. The Mathematics Teacher will be responsible for preparing and delivering effective lesson plans, assessing students’ progress, and adapting instruction to meet the needs of all learners.

Key Responsibilities:
Curriculum Development & Lesson Planning:

Develop and implement lesson plans that meet curriculum standards and engage students.
Use a variety of instructional strategies to accommodate different learning styles and abilities.
Incorporate technology and hands-on activities to enhance learning.
Instruction & Classroom Management:

Teach mathematics to students at the assigned grade level(s).
Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student learning and participation.
Manage classroom behavior effectively and establish clear expectations for students.
Assessment & Evaluation:

Design, administer, and grade assessments to evaluate student understanding and progress.
Provide timely and constructive feedback to students and parents/guardians.
Use assessment data to adjust instructional methods and support student growth.
Collaboration & Professional Development:

Work collaboratively with colleagues, administrators, and support staff to improve instructional practices.
Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with educational best practices and advancements in mathematics education.
Attend faculty meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and other school-related events.
Student Support & Mentorship:

Identify students who need additional support and provide interventions or referrals as necessary.
Mentor and guide students to help them achieve their academic and personal goals.
Foster a love of learning and encourage critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Qualifications:
Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
Valid teaching certification/license for the relevant grade level(s).
Experience:

Previous teaching experience in mathematics is highly desirable.
Experience with curriculum development and instructional technology is a plus.
Skills & Competencies:

Strong knowledge of mathematical concepts and the ability to teach them effectively.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to differentiate instruction and assess student learning.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and engage with parents/guardians.
