Job Description
The School Receptionist is the first point of contact for students, parents, staff, and visitors. They are responsible for managing the front desk, handling inquiries, and providing administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of the school.
Key Responsibilities:
Front Desk Management:
Greet and assist students, parents, staff, and visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
Answer phone calls, respond to emails, and direct inquiries to the appropriate department.
Maintain a welcoming and organized reception area.
Administrative Support:
Manage attendance records and update student information.
Handle incoming and outgoing mail, deliveries, and correspondence.
Assist with scheduling meetings, appointments, and school events.
Maintain school records, files, and databases.
Communication & Coordination:
Communicate important messages to staff, students, and parents.
Assist with school newsletters, announcements, and circulars.
Coordinate with teachers, administrative staff, and external vendors.
Safety & Security:
Monitor visitor access and ensure sign-in procedures are followed.
Follow school policies and procedures related to safety and confidentiality.
Assist in emergency situations and direct visitors appropriately.
